IOT Coffee Machine

A group of academics uses a coffee machine together at Cambridge University, where they worked in England in 1991. As they got bored of finding the coffee machine on the upper floor of their workplace empty every time, they designed a system that takes images of the coffee machine three times a minute and transfers these images to their own computers. This coffee machine was the first example of the concept of the “Internet of Things” in practice and proved the existence of connected objects.

Coffee consumption is increasing rapidly all over the world. According to current data, the amount of coffee per capita in the USA is 7 kilos per year. In Scandinavia, this rate goes up to 5.5 kilos. Per capita, coffee bean consumption in Turkey has reached 1.5 kilos. Nearly 65 percent of this is Turkish coffee. It is obvious that the new generation likes coffee beans more. The most important indicator of this is the big coffee chains and third-wave coffee shops that we come across at more and more points in the city every day.
Of course, the effect of more than 400 coffee chain stores and all kinds of coffee that comes to market shelves in the increase in consumption is high, but another important factor in the increase of coffee consumption is the new generation of coffee machines that offer us the comfort of drinking the same or even more delicious coffee that we consume in cafes with the touch of technology. Coffee machines that prepare various types of coffee with two buttons are now available in almost every home. However, it is possible to say that some consumers, after a point, want the comfort of mobile technologies in coffee preparation as they do in every moment of life. Digital displays and screens are not enough for this group, and at this point, the internet of things, one of the most destructive technologies of our age, comes into play.
You can connect to automatic coffee machines with Wi-Fi, which has become widespread recently, via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on your phone, and you can have your coffee ready at that time every day by operating the machine and setting it to the time you want.

Ease of Use
The convenience in question here is not only the use of the machine but also the easy control of the device with a smartphone.
After all, the point of having a smart coffee machine is to minimize the time spent.
