SMART WHEELCHAIRS

Over 132 million people worldwide use wheelchairs. Smart Wheelchairs is a fantastic new product. Sensors installed onto the chairs often capture data every second. Other smart wheelchair modifications might incorporate fall detection, which would offer information into the patient's sitting habit and the energy necessary to maintain the position.

People may keep an eye on the patient from afar using these capabilities.

The chair was created by analyzing various upper-body motion sequences with a biomechanical computer model. As a result, two armrest-mounted cranks are used in the driving system. Each of the cranks is driven by toothed belt drives and is turned by independent arms (stopping is handled by dual hand-lever-activated disc brakes).

This configuration provides for continuous propulsion rather than a series of pushes to the hand-rims, as well as smaller-diameter wheels than ordinary wheelchairs. Traditional versions aren't any broader than this chair.

Furthermore, the length of the crank levers changes with each round, resulting in an oval rather than a fully circular cranking pattern. This appears to maximize power transfer to the wheels by compensating for the fact that users' arms don't deliver the same amount of power throughout their range of motion.
